Black cumin honey is a distinct type of honey derived from the black cumin flower. It offers a unique taste to connoisseurs with its distinctive flavor. Due to its rarity, it is not produced in every region. In Turkey, it is generally produced in the Mediterranean Region. Produced 100% naturally, black cumin honey does not contain any preservatives or sweeteners.
Although the black cumin plant appears black, its flowers are colorful. This attracts the attention of worker bees and encourages them to start honey production. Worker bees begin producing honey from this plant, which blooms in June and July. Subsequently, the harvest is carried out, and the honey is prepared to take its place on tables without losing its natural properties. Since it is presented naturally, it can be safely preferred by consumers.
After the harvest of black cumin honey, it is filtered and allowed to rest. Then, it is transferred to glass jars, meeting consumers with 100% naturalness. Black cumin honey, which has a dark color, contains rich nutrients. Among these nutrients are high levels of antioxidants, proteins, and flavonoids. It is known that these ingredients provide resistance against diseases and strengthen the immune system.
